1. Whether the product design is scientific, such as the design life of the product, the materials used, and the design of waterproof performance, and what details are used to control the quality of the product, should be taken into account by the engineer when designing.
2. Whether it has been strictly tested, whether the gearbox's torque, efficiency, and speed ratio have been tested by equipment, whether it has undergone chemical composition analysis, and whether each chemical element meets the standard.
3. Whether the material of the parts is good, and whether the material performance of each part is qualified.
A. Cabinet: In corrosive environments, it is recommended to use stainless steel; in low temperature environments, it is recommended to choose LCB, LC1 and other materials, and in normal environments, choose WCB or GGG45. Compared with ductile iron, WCB has the advantage of greater strength. When the motor speed is high, the box body will not break, and its mechanical properties are better than ductile materials.Of course, there are spheroidal ink grades higher than WCB, but the cost will be higher than WCB.

E. Sealing: The protection level of common gearboxes is IP65. In order to prevent high-temperature oil leakage, it is recommended to use sealants and gaskets.If immersion is required due to the working environment, the protection level should be IP68 and the oil seal type should be selected according to the working conditions.

F. Grease: Good grease will protect the gears and worms. A bad worm will change from a paste to a solid after a few uses, which will cause serious wear and tear on the gearbox and lead to scrapping.When choosing grease, consider the working conditions and choose according to the actual situation.
