No matter what type of turbine box is in use, there will be a certain amount of wear between the tooth surfaces.Here are a few ways to minimize wear.


  1. The reason for the fast wear rate: Due to the influence of the parts processing, equipment and debugging of the worm gear reducer, the contact area between the worm wheel and the worm is small, and the allowable torque is relatively large.During the operation of the reducer, the heights of the parts are in conflict with each other. The metal chips that fall due to wear are used as abrasives, which increases wear between the tooth surfaces.


  2. The leakage phenomenon is due to the loosening of parts, vibration and the influence of heat of the reducer. The sealing surface and pipe joints of the reducer will show the appearance of leakage; some defects such as casting are difficult to find during equipment debugging, but Because of the vibration and impact effects during the working process, this kind of defect is exposed and manifests as oil leakage (seepage).As a result, occasional leakage appears during the running-in period.


  3. Poor internal lubrication of the worm gear reducer: Because the parts of the new equipment have a small operating space, and because of the equipment and other reasons, a uniform lubricating oil film is not formed, resulting in serious wear between the tooth surfaces.
